Ubicloud

Ubicloud is an open source cloud that can run anywhere. You can use our managed service to reduce your cloud spend by 3–10x, or self-host Ubicloud to control your own cloud. Built by a team with experience from Citus Data, PostgreSQL, and Heroku, Ubicloud aims to offer an open, portable, and cost-efficient cloud platform.

Flexible deployment across bare metal providers in Europe and beyond, with data residency options and a focus on simplicity and control over cloud infrastructure.

Pricing is based on the managed service and billed per minute with pro-rated usage. Overall pricing is advertised as 3–10x cheaper than comparable offerings. Examples (Germany region):

• Compute: standard VM pricing from 2 vCPU / 8 GB RAM starting at $26.60 per month; burstable VMs start at $6.65 per month; higher-end configurations go up to 60 vCPU / 240 GB RAM ($798–$1,498+ per month shown in tables).
• GitHub Actions runners: Linux x64 from $0.0008/min (standard) and $0.0016/min (premium); arm64 variants available with similar scaling; GPU runners available at higher rates.
• Networking: 0.625 TB per 2 vCPUs included; $3 per TB of egress beyond the monthly allowance.
• Managed PostgreSQL: standard plans from $49/month to $1,498+/month depending on vCPU, RAM, and storage; Burstable PostgreSQL from about $12.41 to $24.81/month.
• Managed ParadeDB: ranges from $99 to $2,997+ per month depending on size.
• Managed Kubernetes: control plane plus worker node pricing (e.g., single node $45.60/month; 3-node HA configurations from ~$136.80/month, up to higher scales).
