It stores assets, files, and metadata in Exoscale’s European data centers with data residency in the country of your chosen zone, accessible via S3-compatible tooling, GUI, or CLI. Data is replicated across multiple high-availability nodes and protected by encryption at rest, bucket-level policies, and versioning/lock capabilities, all backed by a 99.95% availability SLA. Pricing
Pricing is pay-per-use by GiB-hour with three volume tiers:
- Tier 1: up to 512 TiB per bucket — price per GiB-hour (currency-dependent)
- Tier 2: 512 TiB to 1 PiB per bucket — price per GiB-hour (currency-dependent)
- Tier 3: more than 1 PiB — price per GiB-hour (currency-dependent) Notes:
- Pricing of Tier 2 and Tier 3 is applicable starting May 1, 2024
- Tiers are cumulative: the first 512 TiB are charged at Tier 1 level, 512 TiB to 1 PiB at Tier 2, and everything above at Tier 3
- Minimum billable object size is 128 KiB per object (effective May 1, 2024)
- Networking IN is FREE; Networking OUT is billed per GiB
- Object Storage is available in every European zone and stores data in the chosen country
