About DNS4EU
DNS4EU is the official European Union initiative to provide a secure, privacy-conscious, and resilient DNS resolver for EU citizens, governments, and critical infrastructure. The public service is free for individuals and is built and operated by a European consortium led by Whalebone, with infrastructure hosted entirely in the EU. It emphasizes data sovereignty and GDPR compliance, supported by real-time regional threat intelligence to block threats at the source.
